View Custom Object Audit Logs

Want to know who created, changed, or deleted a custom object record — or when an association was set up or removed? Audit logs track it.

What gets logged

• Creating, updating, or deleting custom objects themselves
• Creating, updating, or deleting custom object records
• Creating or removing associations

Where to find them

1. Go to Settings → Audit Logs.
2. Filter by module type — Objects, Custom Objects, or Associations.
3. Click the three-dot menu on any entry and select View Details.

Retention

Audit log entries are kept for 60 days before they're removed.

Why this matters

If a record's data changes unexpectedly, the audit log gives you a clear paper trail.
