Share Documents with a Public Signing Link

Not every agreement needs to be sent to a specific, pre-loaded contact. A public signing link lets anyone who has the link review and sign a document on their own — no account, login, or existing contact record required.

When to use it

Public links are ideal for one-time signers or on-the-go agreements — think a general waiver, a standard service agreement, or terms you post on your website or share in a text message, rather than a document tailored to one named client.

Setting it up

  1. Build (or open) a template in Documents & Contracts > Templates.
  2. Publish the document to generate its public link.
  3. Share the link however makes sense — email, text, a website, a QR code, and so on.

What the signer experiences

The recipient opens the link, enters just their name and email, fills in whatever fields are required, and signs. They automatically receive an emailed copy of the signed document once they're done.

Managing responses

Every signature collected through the link shows up in one place in your dashboard, where you can view or download each response. The link can accept unlimited signers for as long as it stays published — if you no longer want new signatures coming in, unpublish the document to disable the link.
