Appointment Notes and History
Every appointment tells part of a customer's story — what was discussed, what was promised, what needs to happen next. Vendi Today lets your team attach notes directly to an appointment, and those notes automatically show up everywhere else that customer's record lives.
Adding a note to an appointment
Open the appointment from the calendar grid or from the list view and look for the Notes tab. Type your note and save it — no separate note-taking tool needed, and nothing to copy over to the customer's file afterward.
Where notes show up
A note added to an appointment isn't siloed. It automatically syncs to the customer's contact record, to any related opportunity, and to the conversation history for that customer. That means whoever picks up the phone next — even if it's not the person who took the note — sees the same information a manager would see looking at the contact record directly. Edit the note from any of those places and the update reflects everywhere else instantly.
Why this matters for handoffs
Appointment notes are what make staff handoffs painless. If a customer sees a different provider next time, or calls in and reaches someone new, that person can pull up the appointment history and see exactly what was noted last time — allergies mentioned during a consult, a preference the customer stated, or a follow-up item that was promised. Notes also record who added them and when, so there's accountability if something gets missed.
Good to know: Notes stay internal to your team — they're for your records and your staff's context, and they never get pushed out to any external calendar a staff member has synced.
