Using the Shopping Cart Element

The Shopping Cart element displays items a customer is interested in, with images, prices and a button back to your store. It is a natural fit for abandoned-cart reminders and limited-time offers.

What it shows

For each item you can display the picture, name, description, price and quantity, plus a button such as Return to Cart or Buy Now.

Important limitation

The element does not take payment. It sends the reader to your website or store checkout to finish the purchase.

Adding the block

  1. Open Marketing > Emails > Templates and edit or create a template.
  2. Click Add Elements and drag Shopping Cart into a layout.
  3. Click the block to open the Edit tab.
  4. Adjust padding, margins and alignment to form a clean product grid.
  5. Choose font, text color and background color so the block reads clearly.
  6. Set the destination link for each button.
  7. Open Visibility for any device or conditional rules.
  8. Preview on both desktop and mobile and click every link in a test email.

Using it in automations

Place the template inside a workflow email action that fires after a cart is abandoned. Pair it with a short subject line and a gentle reminder in the first paragraph.

Layout advice

Keep the grid to one column on mobile, and make sure the button stands out from the product photos around it.

Good to know: Always test with a real cart so you can confirm item names, prices and links resolve properly.
