Organize Workflows with Nested Folders

Once you have dozens of automations, a flat list gets hard to scan. Folders, including folders inside folders, give your workflows a tidy structure.

Create folders

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows.
  2. Click Create Folder, enter a name, and click Save.
  3. To nest one inside another, open the parent folder and click Create Folder again. The new folder lives inside the one you opened.

Move and rename

  • To relocate a workflow or folder, click its three-dot menu and choose Move To Folder. Pick the destination in the pop-up and click Move Here. You can also create a new destination folder from that same window.
  • To rename a folder, open its three-dot menu, choose Rename Folder, type the new name, and save.

Delete a folder

Choose Delete Folder from the three-dot menu and confirm. Deleting a folder does not delete what is inside it; its workflows and subfolders move up one level.

Suggestions for structure

  • Start with broad top-level folders such as Lead Capture, Appointments, Payments, and Internal Tasks.
  • Nest by campaign, client, or stage underneath.
  • Keep depth to about three levels; deeper trees make things harder to find.
  • Folder access can be limited by user role, so admins can protect sensitive automations while giving the team room to work in theirs.

Good to know: Pair folders with Smart Lists so you can both browse by structure and jump to saved searches.
