Monitor WordPress Site Uptime
The uptime monitor checks your hosted WordPress site at regular intervals and records whether it was reachable and how quickly it responded. You see the results inside Vendi Today, alongside your other hosting tools.
What the dashboard shows
- Operational status: whether the site is reachable right now.
- Average uptime: availability over the period you are viewing.
- Last health check: when the monitor last ran, which confirms it is active.
- Response time: the fastest, average, and slowest response over the last 24 hours, with longer ranges where offered.
- Recent events: a time-ordered feed of outages and recoveries, with timestamps and likely causes such as blocked access or server restrictions.
Turn it on
- Go to Sites > WordPress.
- Click Manage Website on the site you want to watch.
- Open Analytics, then Visitors Report.
- Switch the Uptime Monitor toggle to On.
Reading the data
A spike in response time often appears before an outage. Look for what changed around that moment: a plugin update, a new theme, a burst of traffic, or a heavy page. The events feed helps you confirm when a problem began and ended, and you can copy timestamps into a support ticket or a client update.
If response times are consistently slow for visitors in a particular region, consider whether your server location is far from them.
What it does not do
The first version shows information inside the dashboard and does not send email, text, or in-app alerts, so check it regularly. It monitors the site's main address as set up in hosting, and timestamps follow your account time zone.
Good to know: Open the uptime view after every major update or plugin change as a quick health check.
