Add GIFs and Embedded Media to Posts

Text-only posts have limits. You can liven up posts and comments with GIFs, and drop in video or audio from outside platforms without asking members to click away from the community.

Adding a GIF

When writing a post or comment, use the GIF option in the editor toolbar to search and insert a GIF, on both web and mobile.

Embedding video and audio from other platforms

1. Open the post editor and choose Upload Audio/Video.
2. Click Embed Media.
3. Paste the official embed code (iframe) from the source platform — not a shortened link.
4. Preview the embed; it sizes itself automatically.

Supported sources include YouTube, Vimeo, and Loom for video, and SoundCloud, Wistia, Spotify, and Mixcloud for audio. You're responsible for making sure whatever you embed is public and properly licensed.
