Reuse Steps by Copying Actions Between Workflows
Instead of rebuilding the same follow-up sequence again and again, copy it from one workflow and paste it into another.
Copy and paste options
Open the three-dot menu on any action to find:
- Copy Action copies just that step.
- Copy All Actions From Here copies that step and everything after it in the branch.
- Paste Below inserts the copied steps under the action you opened.
- Quick Paste, shown next to the + button, drops them in at that spot.
Step by step
- Go to Automation > Workflows and open the workflow that has the steps you want.
- Open the three-dot menu on the first step and choose Copy Action or Copy All Actions From Here.
- Open the destination workflow, in the same tab or another one.
- Click Quick Paste or choose Paste Below from an action's menu.
- Review the pasted steps, adjust anything specific, and click Save.
What to know about the clipboard
- Copied actions stay available for 15 minutes, and you can paste them several times, even into different workflows.
- After that window, copy again.
- Triggers are not included. Only actions are copied.
- Templates, forms, calendars and similar items keep their references as long as they exist in your account. Check each step after pasting.
- Pasting only works inside the same Vendi Today account.
Good to know: Pasted steps are not saved until you click Save, so you can delete or move them first if the placement is off.
