Use HubSpot Triggers and Actions in Workflows
If you also keep contacts in HubSpot, these steps pass new leads between systems and help you avoid duplicates.
Trigger
New Contact Created starts a workflow when a contact is added in the connected HubSpot account. Use it to notify your team, add a tag, create a task, or begin a follow-up sequence in Vendi Today.
Actions
- Create Contact adds a HubSpot contact from workflow data. Typical fields are first name, last name, email, phone, company, website, and lifecycle stage.
- Find Contact searches HubSpot first, so you can update or skip when someone already exists.
Set up
- Open Automation > Workflows and add a HubSpot trigger or action.
- Click Connect Now and authorize your HubSpot account, or use Settings > Integrations.
- For the trigger, select New Contact Created, click Test Trigger, and map the sample contact's fields.
- For Create Contact, map Vendi Today values into the HubSpot properties.
- Save and publish.
Preventing duplicates
Place Find Contact before Create Contact, then add an If/Else that creates the record only when nothing is found.
Example
When a form is submitted in Vendi Today, search HubSpot for the email. If missing, create the contact; if present, simply add a tag so nobody is created twice.
Good to know: Confirm the exact list of actions available in the builder, since the set can grow over time.
