Import a Mailchimp Email into the Design Editor

You can bring a Mailchimp email into Vendi Today and edit it visually, rather than rebuilding it block by block. The import reads the public campaign link from Mailchimp.

Import steps

1. Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates.
2. Click + New and select Import Email.
3. In the Import from menu, choose Mailchimp.
4. Paste the campaign link from your Mailchimp account into the URL field.
5. Enter a clear Template Name.
6. Select Open in Design Editor, then click Create Template.

The template opens in the drag-and-drop editor, ready to customize.

Campaign or saved template?

Only campaigns have a shareable link. To import a saved Mailchimp template, first create a campaign from it in Mailchimp and copy that campaign's link.

What to expect

• The structure, such as headers, images and text blocks, is converted into editable blocks.
• Mailchimp merge tags and conditional content are not translated. Replace them with Vendi Today merge fields or custom values.
• No Mailchimp login details are requested or stored. Only the public page is read.

If the layout looks off

Some Mailchimp-specific HTML does not map neatly into blocks. Open the template in the Code Editor to adjust the code, or fix spacing in the design editor. Campaigns built with standard HTML and inline styles import most cleanly.

Always preview and send a test before using an imported template.

Good to know: Replace Mailchimp footer text and links with your own sender details before sending.
