Collect Email Subscribers From Your Blog

The Subscribe element turns readers into Contacts and lets you automatically email them new posts.

Add the form

1. Go to Sites, open your blog and choose the blog builder's site editor.
2. Drag the Subscribe element onto the page.
3. Edit the Title, Description and Button Text.
4. Choose a Plain or With Image layout and adjust fonts, colors and spacing.
5. Click Publish.

Each submission creates a contact and applies a Blog tag so you can find subscribers easily.

Send posts automatically

1. Go to Email Campaigns and create a campaign.
2. Add the RSS Header and RSS Items elements to the email. The header shows the blog title and the items list recent posts.
3. When scheduling, choose RSS Schedule so the latest posts are pulled in each time.
4. Under recipients, select contacts from the tag Blog.
5. Save the campaign.

You will need an RSS feed from the blog (see the RSS article) as the content source.

Good to know: Add a short line telling visitors how often they will hear from you; it improves sign-up rates and reduces unsubscribes.
